Garlic Croutons

200g Whole Butter
10g Chopped Garlic
750g French Or Sourdough Bread Cubes
30g Grated Parmesan Cheese
TT Assorted Herbs (Optional)
  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan and add the garlic. Cook the garlic in the butter for 5 minutes.
  2. Place the bread cubes in a bowl and add the Parmesan cheese.
  3. If you are using herbs add them to the garlic butter at this point. Pour the garlic butter over the bread cubes and quickly toss to combine them.
  4. Spread bread cubes on a sheet pan over top of parchment paper in a single layer. Bake at 180°C. Stir the croutons occasionally and cook until dry and lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
