Absurdity

I am so happy and excited I got Ryder reading Animorphs. It was a huge pivotal series for my childhood. I do feel kind of bad he won't know the joys of scholastic book fairs though, waiting a month for the next one in the series. Re reading the same books to kill time. Re reading the series while waiting. I kind of feel the anticipation and the waiting made it what it was. Lasted longer, became a bigger part of me. Like a tv series. Now binge the whole thing, it's different than all of the thoughts going through your head waiting for the next one. The theories, the fan writing and fantasies, the "what ifs" you think of.
