Absurdity

Imagine if your neighbour suddenly had an issue with your fence and instead of saying "hey can you fix this hole" he threatens to break into your garage if you don't. You try to keep things reasonable and say you bought some wood and are putting up some new boards and then he starts to ransack your garage anyway, when your families had previously known each other for generations. Because it was never about the fence, he wants to take your house.

Further proof it has nothing to do with the border he just re-iterated that we should be the 51st state and that we can't stand on our own as a country without the US. He is trying to use a trade war to get us to cave so they can take Canada from us.
