Made a custard with egg yolks and cream. Added the flavouring to the egg yolks (sugar, vanilla some other stuff), heated the cream up, tempered the egg yolks and the cream, and then poured into the dishes. Mixed pecans into the dishes, then cooked in a pan with water in it (about 3/4 covering the dishes) at around 350 Fahrenheit. Let set one day in the cooler then garnished with chopped pecans. It's not exactly a creme brulee as a creme brulee is topped with sugar that is then quickly caramelized on top, this is just really a custard.
