The Unites States Does NOT Own The Americas: 2026-01-06
Saw a post on twitter that really has me pissed off today from the US department of state saying that this hemisphere is "ours", as in all of North and South America is theirs to do with as they please. It is simply disgusting that they think they can have this control and power over every other country simply because of the name, they are not all of America.
Canada will stand as its own nation as will every other nation. Greenland will remain free, Venezuela will be free to decide what to do with its oil and its resource. It's time to break apart the "united" states so they can no longer threaten us and many others, so the world is safer. One thing to have Texas threaten us for example, but 50 states is a whole other matter. If the States won't have proper controls and checks and balances on their leadership, vetting processes, laws against hate, non-corrupt supreme court, then they shouldn't have so much power as a whole.
Feel like the whole world is on the brink of war, all civility and stateliness tossed aside for threats and machismo, threatening every country around, I'm worried my children will see war come to them in their lifetimes. Just so angry at the world lately because it doesn't need to be like this. This rhetoric that they can just control everything in a hemisphere because its "theirs" really boils my blood.
Just this sinking feeling that war is coming everywhere soon as a Canadian all I want is my children to grow up in a happy world, and we could have it too, there is no reason for any of this.
I don't feel this will end with Trump, it feels like he's broken the institutes of law, any checks or balances and there are many others like him who feel "Might is right". Dismantling of their education system over decades to have a better controlled population. No one nation should be this strong compared to others it neighbours, and they need to become divided into separate states that can each go their own way, work together diplomatically but as nations so one government doesn't have this much power.
