Absurdity

Absolutely, as a millennial growing up life felt so optimistic! Felt like we were coming into an era of acceptance, gay marriage was legalized, the new generation was more accepting than the last, we had the internet which was going to let everyone talk to everyone and unite the world like never before. Really left like hate was being pushed out, we were making cultural progress with Russia, slowly becoming friends and sharing media, playing games online together, felt like the number of wars were going down, that fights over land borders were stopping as we were just talking it out for the most part. Some if it was ignorance, but it really felt like there was a good path forward.
