Angry Birds 2 Notes: 2026-02-12
You can spend all your time agonizing over how others okay the game, or you can focus on the positive and just try to enjoy the experience. Sure they can get you down if you let them, but you just have to have faith rovio will sort them all out and fix the glitches. I kind of feel a majority of these glitches simply can't be fixed by how long they have been in the game, so there will always be loads of those exploiting the game. I feel if you focus your time on catching them, reporting them all, trying to flush them out, it like focusing on the negative and sucks some of the enjoyment out of the game. I try to focus on just enjoying the game, popping pigs, getting those eggs back. My own accomplishments. But we all find fun in our own way.
For me I can't spend my time trying to report every single max player, when a lot of them especially sit on top of the Bootcamp for weeks, and I'm sure they have been reported. Rovio not banning them is good enough for me, if they can't find anything wrong with their accounts with all the data they have, trust them to know who to ban, it is their game. Have to just take it and keep playing the game how I enjoy it.
Don't let the cheaters get you down, just enjoy the friendships, the strategy, finding cool things to do with Matilda and Silver. Improving your skills, getting more and awesome strikes.
I'd like to add we don't know if it is wrongful or not. At some point we need to Rovio knows what they are doing, I have seen them admit they've made a mistake before when appealing. And I'm sorry gabby while you may feel you've done nothing wrong perhaps you've done something without realizing it? They aren't exactly clear with telling you why you got banned, which I think is important especially for a temp ban. What good is a warning as vague as "don't do it again" if you aren't sure what it is.
Yes some may have great skills but that is kind of irrelevant. They should never have gotten to the level they have legitimately. Skills or not you just can't reach max flock power with a low star rank without thousands of dollars. If they are so skilled and dedicated can always start over with a new legit account. The point is they shouldn't have that flock power, sure they could make great shots, but at lower flock power it would be lower score. That's how RPGs work, the basic leveling system. It should favour those who put more time and or money into the game, learning skills along the way.
I loved having spells, figuring out which ones to bring and not bring, so much variety in different orders, different strikes, was a fun battle. I have just as much fun challenging myself to do my best and improve my skills and scores. Win or lose its awesome playing with all of you!
Oh and I also agree we all have different personal definitions of what is and isn't cheating, or how important being clean is. There are things the vast majority agree on, like outright hacking, then a shaky middle ground. Some would say using the feats glitch knowingly for hours is exploiting the game, others think it's fine as it was an in game bug. Some think reinstalling bugs are fine as you still have to do the work, while others think it's cheating to get around the established system.
It is entertainment. I pay for other forms of entertainment which is all just data, but it's meaningful to us. People pay for cable, for network subscriptions. I have played a few MMOs with a monthly fee. I enjoy it and I feel for all the fun I have I truly get my moneys worth.
It's not that we don't get it, we just have different opinions, views, values. I wouldn't say we are sheep or suckers at all or anything, just people enjoying a game. What game doesn't give entertainment through data? I used to play Runescape which had a free and members world, I'd happily pay $10 a month for that to enjoy the game.
