Absurdity

Ryder said his name for the first time today. We were outside playing for a while, kiddie pool, his car, hose, the big pool with Doug, Ari and Steph. After they left Diana went inside, I followed shortly with the kid, when we came in I shouted "Here's Ryder!" at which point Ryder goes "Ryder!". I'm glad I was there for that, and I got to share the moment with Diana. It's moments like this that make everything worthwhile. He brings me such joy. And he was awesome the way he said it, and kept saying it. Also in the mornings he'll sometimes say "morning" now.
