How I felt about the game a few years ago, and little has changed in regards to hat events.
I agree with the it's not a re run sentiment. We want re runs on hats that are already upgradeable so those who missed it can catch up and those who have it already can relax for an event. This is a quasi re run, a newly upgradeable hat set. Basically it lasts longer and more stress now since 6k/day instead of 5k. So I'll be working harder for longer to get the coins needed. I'm not sure about this obsession with balance, every change feels you try to balance things as if the rewards and economy are perfectly balanced now and you don't want to rock it too much. But every balance attempt just throws it off more. The Bootcamp hats become impossible for 99% of the players to have a chance of finishing the dark knight hat set or even getting a few. The treasure pass gives us more rewards but we lose out on daily gems needed to survive in a happy manner in game modes. This increase in days is good, 5 instead of 4 should be less stressful, but then the coin changes destroy the balance, meaning more coins per day, meaning this isn't easier but harder to finish, making the event more stressful and instead of stressing for 4 days now we stress for 5.
Also from 2023, here is a One Piece theory I had: Okay so I read an interesting theory that one piece is all to do with our solar system. Luffy is the sun God, Saturn has just been introduced, seems rather obvious. It then goes on to state that Imu backwards is umi, which is mother nature, the sea, ocean. Well I would expand on this, Saturn is not Nrutas for example, why is only their name backwards? Because they are not who they are supposed to be. Perhaps the God's used to include Umi, but something happened likely during the void century and Umi disappeared and Imu took their place. They are the anti-Umi, the opposite of Umi. Represent the earth/land if Umi is sea? Makes you wonder how the planet got to be like this, clearly an unnatural layout like it was heavily designed. I feel like 2 very powerful people fought, and it destroyed most of the planet into what it is now. How could they affect the world like this? They had power over the water or land and made it line up, creating the red line for whatever reason. I feel Imu's power was enough to re shape the very world, the land and sea and flooded it.
